Machinarium is a puzzle point-and-click adventure game developed by Amanita Design. It was released on 16 October 2009 for Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux. In a distant future, there is a city of robots called Machinaruim. Everything goes well until a gang of Black Hats appears. Trying to restore peace, the mayor accidentally catches the wrong guy and sends him to the junkyard. At the same time, the Black Hats kidnap his girlfriend. Now the main hero needs to return to the city, get back his girl.

Machinarium is our first full-length adventure game in which players take on the role of a robot who has been exiled to the scrap heap. Players must use logic, collect important items, and solve environmental puzzles to get the robot back into the city of Machinarium so he can rescue his robot-girlfriend, save the head of the city, and defeat the bad guys from the Black Cap Brotherhood.
