How do I replace the Battery?
- Loosen the black phillips head screw with a size 0 phillips tip screwdriver, remove the battery cover and the battery.
- Insert a new lithium battery (CR2032) with the + side facing up.
- Replace the cover and screw.

What if my Pokémon Pikachu gets wet?
- Remove the battery cover with a number 0 (ought) size phillips screwdriver from a jeweler's screwdriver set. These sets appear to be readily available at convenience stores.
- Remove the battery and shake the water out through the battery opening.
NOTE: If the Pokémon Pikachu was dropped in dirty water, rinse out the system by holding it under running water from a faucet. - For the best game image, look directly at the Pokémon Pikachu display from the front and operate only in good light.
